Jacqueline Kennedy Inspired Table Setting

Today I am joining in the
with a Jacqueline Kennedy inspired table setting!

Jackie Kennedy was known for wearing black and white
so I used those colors in my table setting.

And most of the time you would see her wearing pearls
so I used some for napkin rings.
(These are just cheap bracelets from Five Below).

And stripes...how many times did you see photographs of her wearing stripes?
These place mats are from Marshall's.

One of Jacqueline Kennedy's favorite flowers were white peonies.
I wish I had some real ones but these are artificial ones from Michael's.

I thought about using a white table cloth
but I like the way the wood shows under the table settings.

Plus, the wood reminds me of the Presidential Yacht The Honey Fitz which was the nick name for John F. Kennedy's maternal grandfather.  I was fortunate enough to spend an afternoon on the Honey Fitz at a corporate event many years ago in New York City!  A once in a lifetime opportunity and I didn't bring a camera!

Boxwoods are very common on the White House lawn
so it seemed fitting to use my preserved one for the centerpiece.
(This is from Homegoods and I keep moving it all over my house!)

Jackie Kennedy was a dog lover
so I guess it was only appropriate
for my Rosie to photo-bomb these last two pictures!

Thanks for stopping by to view my interpretation
of a Jacqueline Kennedy table setting!

  3. Very sophisticated table, yet with simple elegance, less is more goes with this lovely style. love it, I loved Jaquelyn Kennedy too, she had great style and poise, and this is a great
table to represent her style. She wore a lot of pearls, and loved the pearl napkin rings (bracelets....what a great idea). My grand daughter dogs name is Rosie too, but she is
a lil prissy long haired chijuajua. Enjoyed your post.
