I worked on some more Christmas decorations
over the weekend.
I stayed mostly with greens and white
with a sprinkling of red.
Someone bought me the Christmas
cream and sugar china years ago.
It's Waterford Holiday Heirlooms
and these are the only two pieces I own.
This white dove always makes it in my Christmas displays.
(I used the berry wreath in my window last year HERE).
So that's my 2012 Christmas Bakers Rack!
I bought this "Believe" sign at Michael's the other day
for a dollar something.

Besides the "Believe" sign,
I bought two conifers and white pots.
(I bought a third one for my Sonoma Bookshelf - HERE)

I actually had two slightly different versions.
I feel like this year I toned all my colors down a bit
here and all over the house.
here and all over the house.
Do you change your holiday decorations each year?

Looking really good. I like how you stuck to two colors. A monochromatic scheme is always a great one. xo
ReplyDeleteSooo pretty, but so was last year's. Your bakers rack is pretty decorated or not.
ReplyDeleteI love all the greenery - so pretty! Take care, Laura
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley! I love your baker's rack! The white looks especially pretty with the greenery. Last year's was so pretty too...it's hard to decide which I like best!!
ReplyDeleteI've been away from blog land for a while just got back on yesterday..I"m going to have to go back through your post. I love your blog :) and I LOVE LOVE the bakers rack this year.. Simple elegance :)

Shelley, I have always loved your bakers rack and it is especially pretty decorated for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a fun corner of your kitchen to add seasonal decor, I always love your touches, the greenery looks so fresh with the white!
ReplyDeleteI like the white and green version this year - it feels fresh and festive, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove all the greenery. That little berry wreath is so cute. Great display.
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley, I'm a new visitor to your blog, and found you over at Coastal Charm. I really love what you did with your baker's rack. It looks so pretty with just the green and white and a little bit of red. And I had to chuckle, because I don't know whether you're always this way, or if it's just this one piece, but I like how everything is very symmetrical. :) That's the way I decorate too, even though I try not to sometimes. Have a great day!

Just love your "believe" sign!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the WOW party to see your bakers rack! I just love the frenchy shape of it! The decorations are nice, too!
ReplyDeleteShelley your bakers rack looks just lovely! Thank you so much for sharing it with us at Inspiration Friday this week!

Your baker's rack looks very pretty all dressed in whites and greens, Shelley. I also like the way you decorated it last year. I really like the 2 white ironstone pitchers.
