This year my Christmas table is set
with my white Santa as the centerpiece.
I bought him from Michael's last year.
He has been up on top of the china cabinet,
but I brought him down to set the table.
I stayed with mostly neutrals
and added a little color with the napkins.
I borrowed the little evergreens from my
recently decorated baker's rack.
Candlelight adds such a warm glow.
This is the only time of year
I still enjoy having a red dining room.
Ho Ho Ho.
All set for Christmas!
Cheers!
Is your table set for the holidays yet?

What a cute Santa! I only have a centerpiece on my dining room table because certain children in my house use that table for homework. If only I could live in a decorating magazine where everything was perfect! lol!
ReplyDeleteLove the table setting and especially Santa!
ReplyDeleteRight now my table is a folding table in the diningroom I am living at temporarily. But I plan to spruce it up for the holidays, I can't wait! Your Santa is adorable and the setting is so elegant.

Santa looks great there on the table! I love your dining room. Mine is red, too. Now days we don't see too many rooms with color. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of the table with the white dressed Santa and the green trees. Now the food can take center stage!
ReplyDeleteYour table looks beautiful in your lovely red dining room, Shelley! I love all the soft colors of your place settings, and that Santa is the perfect centerpiece!
ReplyDeleteYour table looks lovely! I love the neutral palette of the table with the red on the walls. And the Santa is pretty darn cute. He makes a great centerpiece. Our dining room table is sort of set, but I keep changing it around. Does that count? Have a great weekend!

I just painted over my red dining room walls with a soft green. Your post makes me miss my red and your tablescape remind me of mine! Great minds think alike, huh?

ReplyDeleteI'm with you - I only like that my dining room is red this time of year. I so want to lighten it up. Your table is gorgeous. I am going to be featuring it tomorrow night at my Winter Blues Wednesday party (Fall into Fall). The party will be opening Wednesday at 12:01am instead of Tuesday night at 8pm EST because I am participating in the blogger day of silence tomorrow. Please stop by and pick up an I've Been Featured button. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love the Santa.
