Quick Fall Recipe

For the past couple of years when October rolls around,
I head to Williams Sonoma and splurge on my favorite
Spiced Pecan Pumpkin Quick Bread.
Sure, it's $10.95 a bag, (2 for $19.95)
but so worth it!

All you have to do is add 2 eggs, butter and water.
Sometimes I make muffins from the mix.
This time I made bread in my loaf pan.
As you can see,
we almost ate all of it
before I remembered to take a picture!

There is also a recipe on the bag
 for the cream cheese frosting
which is is an absolute must!

In the past,
I have made the bread for Thanksgiving,
brought it to friends' houses,
and made it for our family.

Everyone always asks for the recipe
and it gets gobbled up pretty quickly.
With its perfect mixture of pumpkins, pecans and spices,
it really lives up to its name!
So, run over to your nearest Williams Sonoma
and pick up a bag or two.
You won't be disappointed!

Or swing by the Williams Sonoma website
where you can also read all the great reviews on the bread!

Oh, and just a quick tip:
Stick a toothpick in it 5-10 minutes early to check if it is done so you don't overcook it.  It might just be my oven, but I end up baking it a few minutes less than the recipe instructs.

Enjoy!

By the way, I am also loving these botanical pear towels on their website.
They would make a great fall hostess gift!
Botanical Pear Print Towels, Set of 2
(Disclaimer -I am not being compensated in any way to recommend these products.)
  I just love them!

Have you found any quick mixes or recipes that you recommend?
